Trash Pickups

The City of Fort Lauderdale picks up trash, yard waste, recyclable materials and bulk trash on a regular schedule. A fee for these services is included in your monthly utilities bill. The pickup schedule for Shady Banks is listed below. The city provides each homeowner a trash cart, a yard waste cart and a recycle bin. These containers must be placed at the edge of the street in front of your home on the scheduled days for pickup. Bulk trash must be placed at the edge of the street on bulk trash pickup day. Trash Carts	Every Tuesday and Friday
Yard Waste Carts	Every Friday
Recycle Bins	Every Friday
Bulk Trash	First Wednesday of Each Month
